The Well at Quiet Valley Living Historical Farmby Ellen DuBois on 02/27/19
When my fiance and I visited Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm in the Poconos, Pennsylvania, a couple of years ago, I was completely taken by its beauty. Rolling hills of green, the smell of hay, farm animals simply resting in the shade and the laid back "vibe" were all beautiful. The people who worked the farm, 19th century style including their clothing, farm equipment, tools and more, were incredibly interesting to watch and had a calming effect on me. I felt more rooted to the earth. For a small-town girl, I was a city slicker in comparison.
