The View From Up Thereby Ellen DuBois on 09/20/19

What a beautiful day for flying. I couldn't help but feel excited as my fiance and I took off on an early, warm September day. I hadn't been up for a while and it was exhilarating as I felt the six-seater Beechcraft Bonanza smoothly lift from the runway.
It was a view I'd seen many times. Hangars and planes below grew smaller and streets turned into tiny grid marks below. The earth seemed a patchwork of colors, varying in shape and size. Small ponds and lakes reflected the sky above.
Of course my camera was in my lap, battery charged. I couldn't wait to take some pictures. It's not every day I'm able to capture such beautiful views.
It's peaceful up in the air and I love looking at the world from above. You cant beat the view from up there.
Can't wait until the foliage is in full color!
