Spring Nature Pics with my Nikon D 5200 #amateurphotographer #Nikon

by Ellen DuBois on 05/04/19

There's so much to photograph out there! It's May 4th and although it's cold and damp, the birds are still here, the flowers are greeting us with their vibrance and short lived blossoms and green leaves are gracing the trees. I love it all. The beauty is almost overwhelming!

Here are some pictures I took today. My dog Cooper, a little-love-of-a rescue dog is full of spunk and kisses. He's a doxie mix, weighs in at about 13 lbs and one of his many interesting traits are his different color eyes. I saw some gorgeous mallards resting on the shore and one showing off his beautiful plumage in the water. The Nuthatch (bird) on a purple wire was about to grab a bite to eat at the feeder.

Every day there is something beautiful to see- even when the weather is anything but ideal.  That's why I love taking pictures so much. It makes me slow down, focus on the beauty around me and with any luck, capture a great shot or two.
