Welcome to my author & photography page.

I live in MA with her fiance and rescue dog, Cooper. I teach piano to over 30 students and am the author of I Never Held You: Miscarriage, Grief, Healing and Recovery. I also run a miscarriage support site. When I'm not teaching, I'm often making inspirational bracelets or outdoors taking pictures. A creative soul with a rescue dog.

I also welcome you to visit my author page on Amazon, Ellen M. DuBois, on Amazon.com by clicking here.

Thank you, be well and God Bless! Ellen

In Like A Lion

by Ellen DuBois on 03/07/20

After a very mild winter with hardly any snow, March 7th was cold, blustery and the world was kissed with snow. Nothing to shovel so to native new Englanders, it's pretty much a non event, barring some slippery walkways and roads. The temps are expected to reach into the 60's by Monday, (today is Saturday), so the beautiful images of a snow kissed world are fleeting at best.

That's why I took these pictures. Capturing beautiful moments, breathtaking views and whatever else captures my heart is why I love my amateur photography hobby so much. It's a passion- a need to preserve life's changing seasons and moments.

So, for this morning at least, March indeed feels like it's come in like a lion. I have a feeling it may leave like a lamb far earlier than the actual end of the month. But, who knows? It's New England.

About me:  My name is Ellen DuBois, born and raised in Massachusetts. I love New England with its changes in seasons and natural beauty.

I'm the author of I Never Held You: Miscarriage, Grief, Healing and Recovery and Jackie's Heart. Since 2006 I've been hosting MiscarriageHelp.com, a support site for women and their families who have miscarried.

I'm published with Blue Mountain Arts, and am a contributing author to several books including: Soul Matters for Teens, Sisters, (a Blue Mountain Arts gift book), Conquering Panic and Anxiety Disorders- Success Stories, Strategies and other Good News, Romancing the Soul, More God Allows U-Turns.

I'm also known as "Miss Ellen"- a piano teacher to students from 5 to tween and beyond. Music is another passion of mine and I'm blessed to share the gift of music. I'm also a shudder bug like my mother was. I love taking pictures.
