Getting Inspired to Write Through Kindle Vellaby Ellen DuBois on 08/28/22
I've been feeling the need to write again but have been trying to find my voice. I've always found that inspiration has to find me. When that happens, I can't help but write.
Something shifted after my mother passed away in 2015 and it's been tough to write much of anything since. I'm talking about a book, some music or lyrics. I've been okay with blog posts, etc.
I discovered Kindle Vella and immediately thought it might be what I needed to get myself writing again. By writing in segments and publishing them, I'm making a commitment. If you read my story, you'll (hopefully!) want to read the next episode and it's on me to deliver.
So, that's what I've been doing. I needed a way to get my story out and the Kindle Vella format has helped me get my feet back in the water.
I've just completed Episode 8 of A Christmas Room. This story is appropriate for young adults all the way up to adults of any age. It combines romance, family, faith, some paranormal activity and yes, Christmas. I look forward to writing each episode and sharing it with you! Click here to read A Christmas Room. I hope you enjoy it and there's more to come.
