Easy To Make Delicious, Mouth Watering Meatballs!
by Ellen DuBois on 03/19/22
So, this is a little different from the photography posts I've been putting out there. It's about meatballs, plain and simple.
I'm not the best cook around. I'm not the worst, either. I'm more of a "homestyle" cook who is great at whipping things together, i.e., American Chop Suey, a roasted chicken with sides, (some of them store made or mashed potatoes already made), etc. When it comes to roasts that need to be done "just right" and food that's more on the gourmet side, I'm not the one to call. However, I have a great appreciation for anyone who is an excellent cook.
That being said, there's a local restaurant that has great meatballs. Actually, a few. I've made my own and they're pretty good. Not "knock you socks off" good.
I've been ordering most of my groceries online for the past two years. (I never thought I'd be saying that.) I saw an Italian meatball mix and decided to give it a try. Why not?
To have my fiance say these were the "best meatballs he's ever had" was amazing- at least to me! He's very fussy and up until that day, he thought a place called Stella's had the best meatballs around. I actually thought he was kidding when he raved about mine. But, no joke! MY meatballs are his new favorite and after twenty-seven years together, that's a first!
I can't take the credit. I'm going to share my secret with you, (but not with him) :
All you need is an egg, some warm water, a pound of ground beef, (turkey works, too), and the mix. Mix it together, roll into balls, bake in the oven and you're done. They freeze well, too.
Next time you're grocery shopping, give Tempo Italian Meatball Mix
a try. I think you'll be very happy with the results!
